In a world of six billion people, it only takes one to change your life.
Sixty-two year old Water (Richard Jenkins, Six Feet Under) is sleepwalking through his life, until he returns from a work conference to find a young couple have taken residence in his apartment. Victims of a real estate scam, Tarek, a Syrian man, and Sainab, his Sengalese girlfriend, have nowhere else to go and so Walter reluctantly allows the couple to stay with him. Through these unexpected connections with two virtual strangers, he is awakened to a new world and a new life.
