Stress can be useful, but it can go too far and cloud our responses, judgment and decision making. It is a serious issue in the workplace. If you need to make significant decisions regularly or you face conflict often, then how you manage stress is important.
What is it?
Clear Minds is a package of 2 workshops that address the experience of stress. You will receive helpful information and then move beyond simply hearing to workshops providing real and practical responses to stress.
Day 1: Insights into the causes, evidences, triggers and experience of stress as well as ways in which to prevent, minimize and lower stress. Ways to address personal stress.
Day 2: Workshop on workplace stress and dealing with interpersonal stress often linked to conflict.
Attendance at both days is recommended, but attending separately is still beneficial.

The WCC brings together a regionally and confessionally diverse group of young people to participate in leadership training seminars, and to serve at WCC governing body meetings. The leadership training seminars equip young people with skills and resources to continue their work on issues important to the churches at the regional and local levels.
The Central Committee of the World Council of Churches meets every 18 months to monitor and set directions to the Council’s work. About 150 church representatives, advisors and observers will gather at the next meeting of the Central Committee which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland. There will be a group of young people from all over the world participating in the meeting as stewards from 19 August to 4 September 2009. You may be one of them!
