Women’s Council for Domestic and Family Violence services invites all community members to stand united against domestic & family violence.
“As One Death is too many”
This event is held each year in the lead up to the National Stop Domestic Violence Day. We remember and honour all those who have lost their lives as a result of domestic and family violence.
Welcome to country by Walter and Doolann – Leisha Eatts with Samuel Pilot-Kickett on didgeridoo. Keynote speakers include, The Hon. Robyn McSweeney MLC, Minister for Child Protection, Community services, Seniors and Volunteering; Carolyn Harris Johnson, and an introductory performance by Moana Dreaming.
Date: 23rd April, 2009
Venue: Perth, Stirling Gardens (Corner of Barrack St and St Georges Terrace)
Time: Rally with speakers will commence at 11am. ‘Silent’ March to commence at 12 noon.
