Dayspring Celtic Retreat
“The dialectic between an attachment to ‘place’ and a desire for ‘the journey’ among early Celtic Christians provides a particularly interesting key to our understanding of this tradition.
‘Celtic spirituality’ is itself an ambiguous phrase… it seems to embrace a more contextual, grounded, varied yet uncomplicated, messy, even chaotic faith and spirituality than the conventional, institutional forms…
The importance of pilgrimage and journey in the Celtic tradition, balanced with a strong sense of place, are sentiments that are very much in tune with the experience and temper of our own age. We seek both firm roots and yet a capacity to deal with continuous change.” Philip Sheldrake ‘Living Between Worlds: place and journey in Celtic spirituality’
We have the ‘place’, you bring the ‘journey’ – Come Join Us – dare to explore a ‘messy spirituality’.
You are invited to attend the
