I am a firm believer in paddock to plate growers. It offers a whole new way of looking at what we eat when you can go to the markets to meet the growers and see their passion in what they have on display.

As an ASCMer from way, way back, I am delighted that indigenous issues are being considered at the conference.
May I add a particular one to be thought about in the context of human rights.
That all Aboriginal people for whom English is a second (or third or fourth) language have access to the use of interpreters. An important area is that of pre-election information and on polling day. ie used not only by Australian Electoral Commission staff but also by political party candidates and staff.
And that the cost of training or interpreters and their use during elections be a cost of the Federal Government.

Dear Chris,
It was good to meet with you at the closing ceremony on Friday 28th May.What a great achievement for Kairos Prison Ministry Australia but more importantly for WA.
We have been encouraged by the Chaplains to run another inside course next year.I will keep you informed of dates and if you would like to consider being on team, i will include your name for the next leader of Acacia #2.

Kind regards, Grace and Peace to you and your family.
Reverend Les Marshall

Hello friends and colleagues
Queensland Churches Together also held its AGM on 17 April. It is good to read of your meeting. Congratulations on the One Small Step campaign, which we have made known in Qld.
Good to see the emphasis on Edinburgh. The history is fascinating, if you look at how we understand mission now and how that understanding has developed since 1910.
As of 30 April there will be some articles on our website about our AGM - have a look!
