The Council of Churches of Western Australia meets in full at its General Meetings, which generally occur twice a year, when the delegates of member churches, associates and friends of the Council are assembled.
An Executive manages the affairs of the Council and is made up of appointed delegates of member churches. To read our constitution, click here.
The President is a largely ceremonial role, elected by the Council, acts as the public face of the Council. The current President is Deacon Ramzy Sawaris of the Coptic Orthodox Church
The Chairperson is elected by the Executive and chairs the meetings of the Executive. The current Chairperson is The Reverend Jeni Goring.
The Treasurer is responsible for financial accountability. The Treasurer’s position is currently vacant.
